Custom Pool Builder in Houston, TX

We hired Creative Lifestyle Pools (Jim) to design and build a beautiful pool and spa at our new home in Magnolia in 2022. Jim and his team were outstanding to work with from initial design through final delivery. We found our experience to be exactly what we expected with a top notch outcome. Our friends and family have enjoyed many years of entertainment in our pool and appreciate the high quality one expects from a professional business. Thank you!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Creative Lifestyle Pools. Their pools are absolutely the best. Crystal clear blue sparkling water all the time. Very low maintenance. The owner Jim knew I was on a budget and he designed a pool exactly like I had dreamed of and was able to keep it within my budget. They are professionals and the thing I really appreciated is the way the team cleaned up after themselves every day. Everything I was told about the construction timeline was absolutely correct. This company is all about honesty, integrity and quality work! I strongly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Jim and his company. They were very timely and attentive. He was available every time I called with a question.

Jim and his team have built two pools over the years for my family. Their advanced technology, Ozone Pool System, is a natural and chemical-free way to purify your water. We highly recommend them, they do all their own work from design to construction.

I'm very pleased with my pool and the workmanship. Especially happy with the tile work and the water quality.

Overall a good experience with Jim and the crews. Everyone was polite and courteous. Very pleased with the responsiveness and results. Great job!

They build a beautiful pool. We've had algae problems with ozone and have to supplement with chlorine, but the water quality is better than a typical pool.

We absolutely love our pool! From the start, the entire process was smooth, professional, and personal. Jim, the owner, was there every step of the way — from the first appointment to the final installation. He always answered our calls and texts right away, no matter the time. He truly treats his customers like family.

The ozone technology makes such a huge difference! The water stays crystal clear, soft, and refreshing — no burning eyes, no harsh chlorine smell, and hardly any maintenance. Even during the Houston heat, our pool stays nice and cool without needing any extra equipment. We've recommended Creative Lifestyle Pools to many of our friends because we know they'll get the same great experience. It's rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise and truly cares about their customers the way Jim does. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Creative Pools promised a complete pool in 6 weeks, and I was swimming in my new pool in 4 weeks. I am so thankful I selected Creative Lifestyle Pools as my pool builder.

Absolutely amazing customer service and the work is stunning.

Jim Monkemeier is very knowledgeable and professional. Great experience, looking forward to jump into my new Ozone Pool!

Jim was there every step of the way. He started by explaining the engineering of pool construction and introduced me to an ozone pool. He assisted with getting the paperwork to my HOA and even finding me a lender. Construction began 8/6 and we were swimming by Labor Day. I was very concerned about a grapefruit tree near the construction area and came home one day to find the workers watering it for me! Jim was very responsive with questions, texts and calls. This is what an A contractor looks like!

We are 100% complete now and the pool and surrounding deck are beautiful. Everything is working as planned. It has been a pleasure to work with Jim Monkemeier and Creative Lifestyle Pools. Jim worked very close with my wife and I to assure that we ended up with the features and design we wanted. I'm very impressed with the crews he uses from the bobcat operator down to the guys finishing the pool and deck, they are all artists in my opinion. Jim is very easy to work with and very responsive to phone calls, emails and texts. The only complaint I have with Jim is his lack of control of the weather. I will be recommending Creative Lifestyle Pools to our friends. Thanks again.

They did a good job. They were very good about cleaning up the area and leaving it the way they found it before they left.

Very pleased with the final result and the overall experience.

I would hire again.

The pool is great and no problems in 20 years. He's always available.

I love my pool and Jim's awesome! Even nine years later he still answers my calls.

He completed the job in the timeframe promised.

Jim's a good guy and the pool is beautiful. If any questions or issues arise, he's a phone call away.

I was pretty darned impressed with them. If I have a question even now, 3 years later, he'll get back to me.

He is easy to get ahold of and they were able to do the job in a timely manner.

The communication and call returns were very good.

Awesome pool.

Excellent service from start to finish! The team was professional, punctual, and did a fantastic job.

We didn't have a large lot to work with, but their design maximized our space and we are so pleased with the results. CLP was not the cheapest but that was communicated at the gate... our water is silky soft, it's so worth the money.

Everything Jim said about an ozone pool was 100% accurate! The pool is EXTREMELY low maintenance and has exceptional water quality! Jim and team truly stand behind their product.

Jim, the owner, met with us and designed exactly what we wanted and completed the work on time and on budget. I have enjoyed my pool now for over 15 years.

We had an in-ground pool installed seven years ago. We love our pool! Always looks beautiful and not much maintenance.
